The 2nd Annual Luxe BBQ Weekend Warrior Event 2026

The second annual Luxe BBQ Company Weekend Warrior Showdown and Demo Days was another great success! Play with Your Food was present to help showcase what we do and also to bring a bunch of backyard games to the masses. We were proud to help raise $3136 for Carmichael Outreach alongside the Luxe BBQ Company. Many thank yous to Tammara Harrison for helping to coordinate the overall event and thank you to our many PwYF and Chewsday Challenge volunteers for being on hand to help teach some games, talk about PwYF and mingle with the crowds. The food was also pretty amazing, so we didn’t have to twist too many arms! We’re going to be working on more outreach events in the coming year, so if you’re interested in helping us promote PwYF at various events in our city, please let us know!
