A Chewsday Challenge Update!

Hello from the Chewsday Challenge crew! Here is an update for everyone’s favourite (and one of Saskatchewan’s best attended!) weekly game nights. We still meet every Tuesday at Boston Pizza North Albert with games starting at 6:30 PM and running until the restaurant closes. And our support has grown – we now have our monthly draw on the first Tuesday of each month with three $25 gift certificates from BPs and Board Game Bliss (Handy if you take advantage of our shared delivery to save shipping! We have 40-45 people most weeks and games of all shapes and sizes. We know that we are continuing to grow, as though the numbers aren’t changing much, the faces are. As people find life getting in the way of joining us as regularly as they might want (and many we know will return), we see new faces all the time that turn into regulars. There is no requirement to purchase anything, though we encourage supporting BPs as much as you can. If you’re looking for a game, we offer a forum to sign up to host or join a game, and a Learn To Play table and “players wanted” signs if you just want to drop in. As you may be aware Chewsday Challenge is the community arm of Play With Your Food and though you are free to play at Chewsday without any PWYF commitment or pressure to commit, you will likely hear about upcoming events and you always have the opportunity to get involved, especially with the new fundraising season freshly underway!
