Play with Your Food Celebrates $100K Community Fundraiser for Carmichael Outreach
Regina, SK – March 25, 2026 – Play with Your Food (PwYF) and Carmichael Outreach invite media to join them as they wrap their 2025/26 community-powered fundraising campaign in support of individuals facing food insecurity, poverty and hardship in Regina.
At 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, Play with Your Food will welcome media to the University of Regina Multi‑Purpose Room. Event kickoff speakers include:
- Chelsea Steenbock, Play with Your Food’s 2025/26 Chair on how PwYF surpassed a $75,000 goal
- Janis Miller, Carmichael Outreach’s Director of Development on donation impact for Regina’s most vulnerable population
The PwYF 24‑hour gaming celebration runs Saturday, March 28 to Sunday, March 29 and honours the volunteers who made this year’s campaign a success.
Media are encouraged to attend, capture visuals of the gaming event (e.g. tables filled with people playing elaborate board games) and speak with organizers about how a playful idea grew into a powerful force for community good.
