Total raised for the 2022/2023 event!
In December, we reached the $15,000 milestone and thought “wow, this is absolutely wonderful” and now, to reach the new goal so quickly, we are astonished. It is an amazing thing to have the support of the community for such a wonderful cause.
Congratulations to everyone involved and a huge thank you to all who have contributed. This is no small feat and such a huge boost to Carmichael. To read more, check out the News section on the website!
We are now embarking to see how high we go by March 25, 2023 – keep up the fight against food insecurity, poverty, and homelessness!
Play with Your Food is a local community-based board game FUNdraiser, in support of Carmichael Outreach. This is the general fundraising account for donations to the event. It is also the fundraising page for team members to pay their registration fee for the event. 100% of the funds donated go to Carmichael Outreach.
We are so excited to bring Play with Your Food back to the community in 2023!
This year, we have a shortened fundraising year as the pandemic sure put a damper on our opportunities to get together and game. However, we are making the most of it and bringing this in-person event to the beautiful University of Regina campus in March 2023.
Now is the time to get involved! Register a team, start hosting events now because, more than ever, Carmichael Outreach can use the support as they work hard to fight poverty and homelessness in our community. We know that this will be a big job – no one person, group, or organization can end homelessness or food insecurity alone. That is why we all need to come together to do our parts, however big or small.
For Play with Your Food, we are a board game playing community and we’ve just added the additional element of raising money to the fun we are already having. In doing so, we are making a difference in our community and an even bigger difference in the lives of the people this money supports.
On behalf of the entire Play with Your Food planning committee, we are grateful for your support. We could not do this without you and are so excited to see everyone in person in March 2023.
