“Well met adventurer. Have you heard of the Tomb of Horrors? Does the name Acererak mean anything to you?
If these words strike no fear in you… then you are an imbecile… or you truly don’t know…”
On January 2nd or 3rd (TBD), a group of you will enter the Tomb of Horrors. This dungeon is a tournament dungeon meant for levels 10-15. It is one big test. Deaths and permanent loss of belongings and dignity (of your character) is expected.
Humour and light-hearted reaction to the annihilation of your character will be necessary. As a referee, I will make every effort to be fair, unbiased, and unflinching in my facilitation of the adventure. That being said, we will be using pre-generated, pre-equipped characters (a list will be delivered to the players closer to the date).
That’s the “what.” Now the “why.”
This FUNDCRAWL is meant to A) provide a challenge B) provide some fun and C) raise funds for PwYF.
For EVERY NUMBERED ROOM that the party discovers, I will donate $5. There are 33 total rooms. I could be donating $165!
Players will donate AS THEY WISH, with a suggested donation bracket of $20-$50 (depending on how many players we end up getting). Donations will be initially collected in one big pot (details on how to send funds will come later), then the group will determine their selection of options from the menu below:
